Finally got to the park at around 8:30 for a 45 min session. I worked on fs 5-0s on the mini, forcing a couple in. I also worked on rocks, which are still iffy. Both of these in the shallow, of course.

I also managed a couple fs 50-50s on the ledge, before spending the rest of the time try to ollie clear of the short bank.

I left well after sunset, right as some older couple arrived with a blanket for who knows what.

Spent an hour at Springville tonight after work, making first attempts at fs 5-0s. These want to go straight onto the deck, but when I lean back even more I don’t have the forward weight ro ride back in.

Put a good 20 min in at SoJo on my way home, working on fast cars and still trying to get that 50-50 on the pool coping.

Happened upon this gated and locked park today on my way back to LA. The local kids pointed me to a hole in the fence, so I had to take a few runs.

I found my way to the Verdugo Park in Glendale tonight where I spent 1.5 hrs skating all the things. I worked on fa carves in the kidney bowl, slash grinds on the vert quarter pipes, and faster carves on the square corner bowls.

I was pretty beat to start with, so I don’t think I pushed myself as much as I could have.

I did notice that pointing my front foot gives me more control over grinds, especially when I approach at an angle.

I was in Tampa for just 24 hrs but I knew I needed to checkout Skate Park of Tampa.

I squeezed in only 45min before they closed, shying away from the heavy traffic “pro” course in favor of the wholly ignored but impeccable masonite bowl, which was a little slick, but immensely grindable!

Skated Payson for a good hour, working the bowl fast and pinning down shallow 50-50s.

Coming back from a 3 day trip to Boston, I had to get a quick, 30min session in at Sojo on the way home. I worked the bowl with a couple guys who were grinding the pool coping like men half my age (I’m sure they were).

I made the mistake of skating after a full day of moving furniture and spring cleaning.

I took three slams in a row on the mini and called it. I may have fractured something.

Skated the Springville mini for about an hour working on longer grinds. That’s all.
